Tell us about one of the earliest memories of your career
There are a lot of nice memories of my earliest music career. I used to perform on a different music competitions and music festivals as solo singer. The most memorable moment was when for the first time I was singing solo opera aria with orchestra in Dnipro Opera House back in Ukraine. It was so amazing event and very nice opportunity for young singers. As well I will never forget my first appearance in TV for a show “Ukraine Got Talent”. Very memorable as well is also my first job abroad as singer in Turkey and China.
How do you prepare yourself before you start a new project?
For me the most important is to feel the new project, what is coming.
I always write songs based on my emotional feelings and there is always a story behind each song. For a new project I am always feeling so excited and motivated to work hard to get the best result.
I believe is very important to be in the good mood and to be tuned for a something new. Also is taking a lot of energy to do something nice, so I would like to take a cup of my favorite coffee and straight away starting creating something new.

If you could write your own story, what would your destiny be? What goals would you like to achieve?
If I could write my own story my destiny will be a story how a singer songwriter slightly turns into a Super Star Singer. I believe we are the one who creating our story and everything is possible to achieve in this life. There are no limits and people are only putting limits in their head. Reaching the goal can be hard, but not impossible. My biggest goal is to become very famous and successful artist, who is performing in the biggest stages in the world. My dream is to sing for a millions of people, to have stadiums of the fans who are singing my songs with me. This goal not sounds for me impossible with a hard work you can get everything in your life.
What does success mean to you?
First of all a success for me -is a satisfaction from yourself and what you are doing and achieving and then only opinion of other people .
Of course is important what other people thinking and saying about you and your success , but you can’t rely on opinion of others , because success for each person means sometimes completely different things .

What has been the most important learning during your career?
Of course is learning of vocal. Since five years old I started learning singing in professional way and for a singer I believe is the most important to have the best vocal techniques . As well as learning playing a music instrument. I am so thankful for my parents, who sign me up for piano at 7 years old.
For any singer -songwriter is a must playing in a musical instrument. Also very important part is how to promote yourself as singer -songwriter and how to grow as artist. Every beginner artist need to understand a perspective of becoming, where the artist wants to be. Learning about how to brand yourself into a artist brand a have a reputation with a respect from fans

Any upcoming projects you can tell us about?
Yes. Right now I am preparing a new release in a pop genre, which I am hoping will go far because the song will might sounds different then my other songs.
In near future I am planning to do collaboration with other singers around the globe.
Another exciting project I am planning to create my own course for a songwriting, where I can teach people about how to write their own songs, where to start and how to distribute their music around the world in all music platforms

ABOUT
Lina Lava is a stage name of Elena Drozdova a singer and songwriter originally from Ukraine, Dnipro. Currently based in United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi. The journey of Lina Lava started at 5 years old, when she started singing and her parents signed her up for a music school.
First teacher of vocal gave the biggest motivation to sing and to choose music as profession. First concerts are started since the age of 5 and continue till now.
Finished Bachelor Degree in R. Glier Municipal Academy of Music in a field of Opera Vocal in Kyiv, Ukraine. Lina started songwritting when she was still teenager and her first song was a gift for her first vocal teacher, when she was graduating. In 2019 Lina Lava started working as vocal performer in different countries as China, Hong Kong, Turkey, India, UAE. She was continuously writing her own songs and her first album is almost ready. Her first single calls “Peace Song” and was released in 2022 when war in Ukraine started. Is very deep message about peace around the world and is also applicable to a current situation in Middle East .The second single “Adventure” was released after participation in Abu Dhabi TV show “Win The Crowd”. In “Adventure” Lina shares her feelings about love and betrayal and overall about her experience in life. Every song for Lina is a message what she wants to share with audience.
Her third single was released in UAE in 2023 and calls “Universe”. This song is about how is amazing to find love of your life and to be united with your partner in crime. Is a song about happiness, love till universe. After 3 rd release Lina started to thinking about to do collaboration in some new genre. Lina wanted to go out of her comfort zone and finally try something new. One of her genres what she always wanted to try is was afro pop, because afro music is very interesting , something new and what is really booming in the moment. By doing some research to find a perfect match, Lina collaborated with Sammyoung , one of the top African and Award Winning Producer . Together Lina Lava and Sammyoung did recent release single “Forever”.
“Forever” – is a dance hit in afro pop style. Only by the name “Forever” you can realise what is song about .Is having two parts in it. One is Lina Lava solo, where she singing in English and other part is featuring Sammyoung with African language spices. Both artist Lina Lava and Sammyoung did a big work together. And for Lina is was such pleasure to work with such a big name like Sammy.
Lina Lava now become one of the most sought after musicians in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, for live performances and concerts around the world. In future planning to have a big tour around the globe Recently, Lina Lava was on one of the top radio station in Dubai: DubaiEYE 1038 FM and giving exclusive interviews to different magazines and music platforms.
Soon Lina Lava will be surprising audience with a new releases and collaborations.
