Tell us about one of the earliest memories of your career
I started playing the violin being almost 7 years old. I’ll tell you now the interesting story about how my journey began.
At the school where I studied, it was mandatory to take the first year of training in any musical instrument. There was a poster in the classroom with a lot of instruments that I knew nothing about and just pointed my finger at the first instrument that interested me. It turned out to be a violin. In such a waywe haven’t been apart for many years now.

How do you prepare yourself before you start a new project?
I try to practice every single day and always looking for some new pieces which I never played before to do a challenge for myself.
If you had to define yourself to the world, what would the headline be?
Purposeful and vigorous
If you could write your own story, what would your destiny be? What goals would you like to achieve?
To be honest, I feel like a lot of my dreams and goals have come true, and I have achieved much of what I dreamed of in my childhood.
I worked on cruise lines in the USA as a musician and visited many countries to discover new traditions for myself. Also, I performed with symphony orchestras as a soloist, which made me stronger in my professional skills.

What does success mean to you?
For me, success is achieving my goals.
How has the perspective of your dreams and objectives changed over the years?
Every year I try to achieve something new that I was previously afraid of.
What has been the most important learning during your career?
don’t look back, just forward
Any upcoming projects you can tell us about?
I am planning to have a few solo classical concerts for new season , also one concert of my students, one concert at TODA Theatre with amazing singer Joseph Terterian and wonderful Le petit Orchestre.

Kateryna Krutova is a professional violinist and viola player from Ukraine based in Dubai. The artist was born in Luhansk city, Ukraine, on May 25, 1989, and graduated from Kharkiv National University of Arts in 2013 as a specialist with full higher education and as a music teacher. Kateryna had a performance at Konzerthaus in Berlin with the famous violinist Vadim Repin in 2012. Also, she performed as a member of the symphony orchestra in Florence, Italy, for a music festival in 2013.
In 2014, the musician performed as a violinist at weddings in India, New Delhi, and other cities. In 2016, she toured across China as part of the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra. From 2017 to 2020, Kateryna was a soloist on cruise lines in Miami, United States of America, as part of the teams of Norwegian Cruise Lines and Carnival Cruise Lines. Since 2020, the artist has been based and working in the United Arab Emirates as a music teacher, tutor, and concert violinist. She prepared three of her students to be part of the National Youth Orchestra of the United Arab Emirates, and two of the students passed the examination with distinction marks at the Royal Music Academy in London.
In July 2024, Kateryna will be attending the Austrian Master Violin Courses with certification.
